Maxis has announced that its postpaid users will be getting an extra 10GB of monthly data permanently, without any changes in pricing.

The upgrade will be rolled out to current subscribers between April 6 to April 17, with an SMS notification being sent once the upgrade has been successful.

New subscribers on the other hand will be able to enjoy the new quota immediately after line activation.

Plans receiving the data bump are as follows: Maxis Postpaid 68 (40GB to 50GB), Maxis Postpaid 98 (50GB to 60GB), Maxis Postpaid 108 (60GB to 70GB), Maxis Postpaid 128 (70GB to 80GB), Maxis Postpaid 158 (90GB to 100GB), Maxis Postpaid 188 (110GB to 120GB), Maxis Postpaid 248 (120GB to 130GB), and Maxis Postpaid 368 (140GB to 150GB).

Do note that the Maxis Postpaid 68 plan is only available in East Malaysia.

Users with shared lines should also check their Maxis app on the data limits for their supplementary lines, as Maxis has said that the share limit would be reset following the upgrade.

Maxis had previously given Hotlink Postpaid users a free 10GB upgrade back in early February this year.
