Popular Japanese rhythm arcade game Taiko no Tatsujin has added a track by Datuk Siti Nurhaliza into its extensive songlist.

According to a recent blog posting, the song Bukan Cinta Biasa will be a part of the game’s 800-plus songlist after a new update released today (June 7).

The song has been described as “popular in Malaysia” based on translated text.

Clips of how the song is featured in the game has emerged on YouTube and Twitter just hours after the update was released.

One user in particular, showed how to play the track in an arcade. The song is also available to play in four difficulty levels from Easy to Extreme, where players could earn up to six stars for completing the track.

Locally, the game can be found at arcades in selected shopping malls. Aeon Fantasy Malaysia for example, announced a Taiko no Tatsujin tournament back in 2022 where participating outlets included malls in Klang Valley, Penang and Johor.

Taiko no Tatsujin is a rhythm game modelled after the traditional Japanese taiko drum. Players have to hit the drum according to notes on the screen to score points.
