What’s new this week: Apple’s RM32,900 Mac Pro, Redmi 12 and free train tycoon game

The new Mac Pro with M2 Ultra Chip is now available in Malaysia.

Customers can also add wheels to the Mac Pro for an additional RM1,600.

Meanwhile, the new 15in MacBook Air with M2 chip, also out now, has a 16-core Neural Engine, a 15.3in liquid retina display, a 1080p front camera, a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, and four USB ports.

Starting at RM6,199, users can add up to 24GB RAM and up to 2TB storage. It’s available in four colour options: Midnight, Starlight, Space Grey and Silver.

Redmi 12

The Redmi 12, out on July 15, is just 8.17mm thick and has a 6.79in FHD+ display.

The company claims that its SGS Low Blue Light Certification and Reading Mode 3.0 will make it a more comfortable viewing experience for users.

The device, which has a MediaTek Helio G88 processor, comes with three rear cameras: a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.

Other features include a 5,000mAh battery, IP53 dust and splash resistance, and a 90Hz screen refresh rate.

It’s priced at RM599 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB model and RM699 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB version.

The phone comes in Midnight Black, Sky Blue, and Silver.
