Samsung unveiled the Odyssey OLED G9 49in monitor with a dual quad high definition (5,120 x 1,440 pixels) resolution and a 32:9 screen ratio.

The super-ultrawide screen is double the size of a quad HD screen for a more immersive viewing experience.

It boasts a rapid 0.03ms grey-to-grey (GtG) response time and a 240Hz refresh rate, giving gamers a competitive edge.

There are two models, the G93SC and the G95SC, with the latter running on the Neo Quantum Processor Pro, which uses deep learning algorithms to analyse and upscale images and adjust brightness and contrast for pixel-to-pixel detail restoration.

During Samsung’s launch promotion, from now until Aug 31, the G95SC will go for RM8,499 (normal price: RM9,999), while the G93SC variant will cost RM8,074 (NP: RM9,499).
