MLBB esports tournament offers scholarships as prize


PETALING JAYA: Mahsa Avenue International College (MAIC) and RSG Esports are holding a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament on Aug 5 that gives players a chance to win scholarships.

The winning team will receive five full scholarships for diploma programmes with a total value of RM150,000, along with in-game items: 30,000 diamonds for first place, 20,000 for second place, and 10,000 for third place.

The tournament, which is limited to 64 teams, requires five players per team.

Registration is free and open to gamers aged 17 and above who are not signed up as professional players with MLBB teams.

According to a press statement, the tournament is being held in conjunction with MAIC and RSG Esports signing an MOU to collaborate on providing education opportunities to esports players.

The tournament will be held at MAIC in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 5 from 9am to 7pm.
