The Acer Nitro 16 gaming laptop is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7000HS series processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card (choose from RTX 4050, 4060 or 4070), aimed at delivering strong performance for casual gamers.

The device which weighs in at 2.7kg has a 16in WQXGA IPS display with 165Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a choice of 16GB or 32GB RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage.

Other features include a four-zone RGB backlit keyboard with dedicated NitroSense Key (a software for users to monitor their computer settings) and a 125.0mm x 76.7mm touchpad which the company claims provides users with sufficient navigation space for on-to-go situations.

The Acer Nitro 16 gaming laptop series comes in three models priced from RM5,799.

Redmi Note 12 in Sunrise Gold

Want a smartphone with a brighter colour option? The Redmi Note 12 in Sunrise Gold colour is now available in Malaysia.

The device has a 6.67in AMOLED DotDisplay with 120Hz refresh rate and 2400 x 1080 resolution.

The device is equipped with Snapdragon 685, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

It also has three rear cameras: 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, there’s a 13-megapixel front camera.

Other features include 5,000mAh battery, supports 33W fast charging, side fingerprint sensor, IP53 water and dust resistance rating and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Priced at RM799, it is also available in Ice Blue, Mint Green and Onyx Gray.

Oppo A58

Looking for a new affordable smartphone? The Oppo A58 has a 6.72in FHD+ display with 2400×1080 resolution.

Equipped with MediaTek Helio G85, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, the device also has two rear cameras namely a 50-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel camera. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel camera.

Other features include a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging support and dual stereo speakers. It also comes with an Ultra Volume Mode which the company claims can maximise the loudness of the speakers up to 300% and increase earpiece volume for phone calls or voice calls on apps like WhatsApp.

Priced at RM699 in two colour options namely Dazzling Green and Glowing Black.
