Bank Muamalat debit and credit cards now supported on Samsung Wallet

PETALING JAYA: Bank Muamalat announced that its banking cards are now supported in Samsung Pay, allowing its customers to make contactless payments using compatible Samsung smartphones or smartwatches.

The bank says that it is the first fully Islamic bank in Malaysia to receive integration with the digital payment system.

The setup process to add a Bank Muamalat card to the Samsung Wallet is straightforward.

First, open up the Samsung Wallet app and tap the "+" icon on the main screen. Then select the payment card and follow the on-screen instructions to input payment details.

Once done, users will be able to use their device for contactless payments at physical stores.
