The new macOS trick to quickly arranging windows side by side

BERLIN: For the longest time, arranging windows on a Mac meant lots of resizing, dragging and dropping, but the latest Mac operating system (macOS 15 Sequoia) lets you tidy up your screen with just a few mouse clicks.

Previously, arranging windows on a Mac required lots of moving things around or using the Stage Manager. Now, users can hover over the green full-screen button in the top left of a program window to open a new menu.

This menu offers options to position the program on the screen, such as right, left, full screen or tiles, or even to move it to the next screen. This way you can quickly line up your emails on the left, your editing software on the right, for example. – dpa
