Pharrell Williams to bring star power to Web Summit tech event

PARIS: Singer Pharrell Williams is due to kick off one of Europe’s biggest tech events on Nov 11, the Web Summit in Lisbon, with organisers keen to move on from last year’s edition when several big firms pulled out.

The event will bring together some 70,000 attendees with more than 3,000 startups and 1,000 investors, according to the organisers.
