PETALING JAYA: Smartphone maker Realme unveiled its new flagship, the GT 7 Pro, claiming it to be the first device officially launched in Malaysia that’s powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
On the display front, it features a 6.78in Amoled screen with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and an under-screen fingerprint sensor. It also has a peak brightness of 6,500nits.
The GT 7 Pro uses a triple camera setup featuring Sony sensors: a 50-megapixel main shooter, a 50-megapixel periscope portrait camera, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.
This comes alongside a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Various artificial intelligence (AI) enhancements, such as greater zoom clarity and faster shutter speeds, further augment the camera setup.
It also has what Realme calls an Underwater Mode in the camera app thanks to its IP69 ingress protection.
Looking at the storage side of things, the Realme GT 7 Pro is only available in a single configuration with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
The device is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery, which Realme claims can achieve a 50% charge in 14 minutes and only takes 37 minutes for a full charge thanks to its 120W Supervooc fast charging.
The Realme GT 7 Pro is priced at RM3,699 and comes in two colour options – Mars Orange and Galaxy Grey.
The company also launched the Realme Pad 2 Lite (10.95in display, Helio G99 processor, and 8,300mAh battery) and Buds T310 (with active noise cancellation and up to 50 hours of playback time), priced at RM899 and RM199, respectively.
