OnePlus has launched its new flagship the OnePlus 13 in Malaysia, featuring a suite of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered tools packed into OxygenOS 15.
This includes OnePlus AI, integrated directly into the device's search function, allowing it to look up specific information from a user's files or Notes app.
The AI tool suite even expands the device's photo-editing capabilities, with AI detail boost, AI unblur, and AI reflection eraser, which all perform functions as their respective names imply.
It also comes with Google's AI-powered utilities such as Gemini, Circle to Search, and Magic Compose in the messaging app.
Looking at the specs sheet of the device, the version of the OnePlus 13 launching in Malaysia is only available in a single storage variant, with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, while also being equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
On the display front, it has a 6.82in screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The smartphone maker has also continued its collaboration with Swedish high-end optics and camera manufacturer Hasselblad on the OnePlus 13's camera setup.
The device sports three 50-megapixel sensors on its round camera bump on the back, comprising a main shooter, a telephoto camera with up to 3x optical zoom, and an ultrawide camera, along with a Hasselblad portrait and master mode.
It also has a 32-megapixel hole-punch selfie camera on the front.
The device also utilises a dual-cell battery design, with two 3,000mAh batteries for a combined 6,000mAh capacity capable of 100-watt Supervooc or 50-watt Airvooc wireless charging.
In-store pre-orders for the device are open until Jan 10 (Feb 5 for online purchases), with early buyers eligible for freebies including a 100-watt Supervooc charging set, OnePlus magnetic phone casing, and a OnePlus 5,000mAh magnetic power bank, available while stocks last.
The OnePlus 13 comes in three colours, Midnight Ocean, Arctic Dawn, and Black Eclipse and is priced at RM4,399.
