Icy tale

After my Form Six exams, I went on holiday to the United States for the first time with a friend. We stayed at his sister’s place in Pasadena, California.

We had gone there to watch the Rose Bowl Parade. It was winter when we arrived. Things went smoothly, and after several days, I had to do my laundry. My mum always taught me that we should always wash our underwear separately. I proceeded to launder my clothes and hang them on the clothes line in the backyard.
