Sumatec shares up on positive PN17 exit


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of  oil and gas company Sumatec Resources Bhd rose at midmorning on Thursday as investors were confident of its prospects and impending exit from Practice Note 17.

At 10.14am, Sumatec rose 3.5 sen to 63 sen with 15.65 million shares done between 60 sen and 63.5 sen, making it one of the actives in Bursa Malaysia.
