Hibiscus shares up, confirms hydrocarbons found in Oman


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Hibiscus Petroleum and its warrants surged in mid-morning trade on Tuesday, bucking the overall weaker market, after its joint venture with Rex Holdings found hydrocarbons in Oman, confirming a StarBiz report.

At 10.17am, Hibiscus rose 16 sen to RM2.26 with some 1.42 million shares done between RM2.22 and RM2.33.
