PETALING JAYA: MISC Bhd’s move to hive off its integrated logistics business will not have much material impact, but analysts deemed it a good move nonetheless on several fronts.

Yesterday, the shipping group announced on Bursa Malaysia that it was disposing of its entire equity interest in wholly-owned MISC Integrated Logistics Sdn Bhd (MILS) to Golden Age Logistics Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned unit of Utusan Printcorp Sdn Bhd, for RM250mil cash.
