KUALA LUMPUR: SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd’s net profit surged 172% to RM337.2mil for the fourth quarter ended Jan 31, 2014, boosted by its drilling and energy services division that included the financial results of the tender rig business subsequent to completion of acquisition on April 30, 2013.
However, its revenue was slightly lower at RM1.88bil against RM1.95bil in the same period a year ago.
