George Kent FY12 net profit up 41% to RM36m, boost from construction


KUALA LUMPUR: George Kent (Malaysia) Bhd's net profit rose 41% to RM35.99mil in the financial year ended Jan 31, 2014 (FY14) from RM25.56mil a year ago, boosted by its construction business.

The company, whose core businesses are manufacturing engineering products and construction, said on Thursday its revenue rose 82.9% to RM506.29mil from RM276.81mil a year ago.
