US among top three investors in Malaysia

PETALING JAYA: Foreign direct investments (FDIs) from the United States are still coming in, which is an encouraging sign, according to Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) deputy chief executive officer 1 Datuk Phang Ah Tong (pic).

“US investors are continuously investing in Malaysia. As at Dec 31, 2013, 22.43% of the country’s FDI came from the United States. The United States remains one of the top three investing countries in Malaysia,” Phang told StarBiz.
