THHE wins first FPSO contract in RM2.9bil deal


PETALING JAYA: TH Heavy Engineering Bhd (THHE) has finally secured a contract for its floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) with Japan’s JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration in a deal worth US$900mil (RM2.9bil), sources said.

The contract entails THHE providing its FPSO facility to JX Nippon Oil & Gas for the Layang oil and gas field, located off the coast of Sarawak.
