New RM600mil plant for Perodua and Daihatsu


PETALING JAYA: Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) and Daihatsu Motor Co of Japan are investing RM600mil in a new engine manufacturing plant in Sendayan TechValley, Negri Sembilan.

A new engine manufacturing company, which has yet to be named, will see Daihatsu holding 51% and Perodua the remaining 49% with a paid up capital of RM165mil.
