Zainal is DNeX boss

PETALING JAYA: Dagang Nexchange Bhd (DNeX) has appointed Zainal Abidin Abdul Jalil (pic), the former chief executive officer of independent power producer Malakoff Corp Bhd, as its group managing director effective today.

The technology outfit, which was formerly known as TIME Engineering Bhd, said in a statement that the appointment of Zainal, who had previously also served in oil giant ExxonMobil for 28 years, was in line with the company’s plan to diversify into the oil and gas (O&G) industry.
