OSK shares jump 14% to highest level since June 2007

OSK

PETALING JAYA: Shares in OSK Holdings Bhd surged to a seven-year high, as investors bet the value of the company’s 9.91% stake in RHB Capital Bhd would soar ahead of the merger with CIMB Group Holdings Bhd.

OSK’s share price jumped 14% yesterday to RM2.28 – its highest since June 2007. Shares in CIMB, RHB Cap and Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB) were suspended, pending a possible corporate deal involving the three financial groups.
