Scientex business set to quadruple to RM1bil with partnership with Japanese firm


KUALA LUMPUR: Scientex Bhd expects the turnover from its consumer packaging business to quadruple to RM1bil in three years through its partnership with Japanese firm Futamura Chemical Co Ltd, as well as investments in new machinery.

Managing director Lim Peng Jin said the company would focus on growing its consumer packaging business in South-East Asia and Japan. Currently, the segment rakes in about RM250mil in revenue.
