KUALA LUMPUR: BIMB Securities Research expected the FBM KLCI to come under some selling pressure on Thursday after the weak overnight close on Wall Street.
On Wednesday, foreign funds resumed their selling but on a mild scale, with net selling at -RM49mil and retailers continuing to take profit and emerging as net sellers at -RM10.5mil. However, the selling was easily absorbed by the local institutions.
