Time for some profit taking on Bursa

KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI closed lower on Wednesday as investors decided to lock in their recent gains but the losses were not exceptionally heavy, in tandem with the lacklustre South-east Asian markets.

At 5pm, the KLCI was down 8.03 points or 0.43% to 1,854.77. Turnover was 2.73 billion shares valued at RM2.12bil. Declines beat advancers about two to one with 564 losers to 293 gainers and 345 counters were unchanged.
