Khazanah firm on its turnaround plan for MAS

KHAZANAH Nasional Bhd, the owner of Malaysia Airlines, is firm on its decision to reduce the number of the airline’s employees by 6,000 people, even as it gives more time to incoming chief executive officer (CEO) Christoph Mueller to choose his team.

The plan to retrench more than 25% of MAS’ workers is being protested by the airline’s workers’ unions.
