Ringgit closed lower against greenback

KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit closed lower against the US dollar on Monday on mild profit-taking after it ended last week's trading better against the greenback, dealers said.

A dealer said the US dollar strengthened as the agreement on the third bailout for Greece had been reached by eurozone leaders, shifting the market's focus towards the US possible interest rate hike.
