It follows O&G firms’ trend in slashing capex in depressed market conditions

KUALA LUMPUR: In an affirmation of the depressed market conditions for the oil and gas sector, Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) president and group CEO Datuk Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin said that only 14 of Petronas’ oil rigs will be in operation by the end of this year, compared with 39 as at the end of last year.
