Awana Skyway bids farewell after 40 years in operation

AFTER 40 years of service, the Awana Skyway in Genting Highlands ceased operations recently to make way for the construction of a new cable car system due to open in 2016.

The Awana Skyway was built in 1975 and was Malaysia’s first cable car system.
