> Youths splash motorcycle repair shop with paint after not receiving ang pow
A motorcycle repair shop in Sungai Petani was splashed with blue paint allegedly by two young men who were angry at not receiving ang pow from the shop’s owner. The owner, who operates the shop in Taman Intan said the duo had brought mandarin oranges and paid him a visit on Sunday at around 4pm, and proceeded to ask for ang pow. “As I did not know them and could not guess the purpose of their visit, I refused to give them anything and they left,” the shop owner said. He said his shop was splashed with paint shortly after that, and that he had lodged a police report over the incident.
