Syed Husin sues paper and MP for defamation


KUALA LUMPUR: Senator Dr Syed Husin Ali has sued Utusan Melayu (M) Berhad and an independent MP for defamation in an article about him published two months ago.

The 76-year-old, who was a former Universiti Malaya professor and former Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president, filed the suit through his counsel Fadiah Nadwa Fikri at the High Court civil registry here yesterday.
