BUKIT MERTAJAM: Several grocery shop operators thought they could outsmart the authorities by keeping illicit cigarettes in biscuit tins and secret compartments.

One of them kept the untaxed cigarettes in biscuit tins placed on top of shelves at the shop in Bukit Mertajam.
