Puncak Niaga fails to get judicial review over non-renewal of licence

KUALA LUMPUR: Water concessionaire Puncak Niaga (M) Sdn Bhd failed to have the decision by water licensing body Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS) to not renew its licence be reviewed by the High Court.

Justice Zaleha Yusof held on Thursday that the decision by LUAS and the Selangor state government not to renew water abstraction licence (to get raw water from river) to Puncak Niaga was not mala fide and unreasonable.
