Police detonate two small explosives in Jalan Medan Tuanku 1

KUALA LUMPUR: Two small explosives were detonated in Jalan Medan Tuanku 1 here Thursday evening.

The explosives were in a bag which was discovered by a bank staff at a five foot way in front of a Maybank office at about 4pm.

Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Zainol Samah‎ confirmed that the explosives were placed in a grey luggage bag.

A bomb disposal squad detonated the first explosive at 7.40pm and the other five minutes later.

The case was being investigated for criminal intimidation and public mischief under the Penal Code.
