Groups laud Government’s visa fee waiver plan for Indian tourists


PETALING JAYA: Tourism and business groups have applauded the Government’s plan to waive visa fees for Indian tourists following a similar waiver for tourists from China.

Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) vice-president (inbound) Datuk Tan Kok Liang said the move would boost the country’s tourism industry as India was among the emerging markets for inbound tourism here.
