Idris Koh slips a ring on Najwa's finger at their wedding ceremony at Seri Satria in Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA: The daughter of Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and his wife Puan Sri Noorainee Abd Rahman, Najwa, married Idris Koh Keng Hui at the official residence of the Deputy Prime Minister, Sri Satria here.

In a statement, the office of the Deputy Prime Minister said the marriage of the couple was solemnised by the bride's father at a ceremony held at 11.40am, in the presence of the Grand Imam of Masjid Putra, Putrajaya, Abdul Manaf Mat and mosque official Dr Sirajuddin Suhaimee.

Najwa is 28 years old while her husband is 29.

The simple marriage ceremony was attended by about 300 guests including the groom's parents, Koh Lai Poo and Chiam Juat Wah, family members and friends from both sides. - Bernama
