Nine NGOs lodge police report over FB post


KUALA LUMPUR: Nine non-governmental organisations have lodged a police report against an individual who allegedly insulted the monarchy and sanctity of Islam on Facebook.

The NGOs, Martabat Jalinan Muhibbah Malaysia (MJMM), Gerak Kerja Ayahanda Selangor (GEGAS), IRIMM, IKHLAS, PERMAS, Majlis Bendahara, ARC, Ninja Malaysia and Reformasi lodged the report at the Dang Wang Police Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.
