Suhakam: We were not consulted


KUALA LUMPUR: Suhakam has expressed regret over the Government’s decision to amend the Sedition Act, adding that it was also not consulted on the passing of the Prevention of Terrorism Act (Pota).

Suhakam chairman Tan Sri Hasmy Agam said the Government was morally and legally bound to consult it before the amendment of any Act.
