10 witnesses to add more bite to wildlife trial


BALIK PULAU: The prosecution will call 10 witnesses to testify in the joint trial of wildlife trader Anson Wong’s wife and a business director charged in a Sessions Court with illegal possession of elongated tortoises.

Cheah Bing Shee, 57, is jointly charged with Syarikat Rona Wildlife Enterprise director K. Muthukomar, 52, under Section 68(1)(a) of the Wildlife Conservation Act 2010 with keeping three male elongated tortoises without a special permit.
