SMEs welcome decision to abolish renewal fees


Thumbs-up: Employers and businesses have welcomed the Cabinet’s decision to abolish the renewal fee for foreign workers’ permits over MyEG.

PETALING JAYA: Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are relieved by the Cabinet’s decision to abolish the renewal fee for foreign workers’ permits over MyEG.

“The employers are smiling now, especially those who hire a few thousand foreign workers,” said Malaysian Association of Foreign Maid Agencies (Papa) president Jeffrey Foo.
