IGP: Lawyer 'not smart' for saying police lied about Low Yat brawl

GOMBAK: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) on Wednesday slammed a lawyer representing one of the accused involved in Sunday's Low Yat Plaza brawl, saying he was not a "smart lawyer" for accusing the police of lying about the case.

Khalid said those involved in the race-provoked scuffle were now seen to be shrugging their responsibility after being accused of wrongdoing.
