THE Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan told Parliament on Sept 26 that the Government planned to build incinerators to manage the growing waste volume because the existing landfills were unable to handle the burgeoning waste.
The minister rationalised that incinerators are needed to manage the expanding waste volume, which exceeded 30,000 tonnes a day in 2012.
