Labuan Islamic financing activities up 46.8% to US$775.60mil


KUALA LUMPUR: The Islamic financing activities in Labuan increased by 46.8% to US$775.6mil in 2013 from US$528.5mil in 2012, reflecting the growth of the banking sector.

The Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA) said in its 2013 report the  Labuan banking sector remained strong and stable.
