Muhibbah gets RM300mil contract from Petronas in Pengerang


KUALA LUMPUR: Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd has won a contract worth RM300mil from Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) in Pengerang, Johor. 

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Tuesday, Muhibbah said the contract was to provide engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for Petronas Rapid Temporary Executive Village and Petronas Rapid Temporary Management Office Facilities for the Petronas Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development Project. 

“The construction is scheduled to commence immediately and is expected to be completed by end November 2016,” it said. 

It also said the contract was expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Muhibbah group for the current and future financial years. - Bernama
