Ismee steps down as Takaful Malaysia chairman

KUALA LUMPUR: Lembaga Tabung Haji group managing director Tan Sri Ismee Ismail has ceased to be chairman of Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Bhd.

The takaful subsidiary of BIMB Holdings Bhd told Bursa Malaysia that Ismee, 50, ceased to hold the position following the expiry of his tenure on Dec 15.

Among his previous posts were chief executive officer and director of ECM Libra Securities Sdn Bhd and ECM Libra Capital Sdn Bhd, chief accountant/treasurer of Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Bhd, and senior vice-president (business and corporate development) of Medical Online (M) Sdn Bhd.

Takaful Malaysia shares gained 9 sen to close at RM3.82 on Tuesday.
