Mercedes-Benz expects strong demand for new SUV range

KUALA LUMPUR: Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is expecting strong demand for its new premium sports utility vehicle (SUV) range launched on Thursday.

Its vice-president (sales and marketing, passenger cars) Mark Raine said the new vehicles offered sporty styling, upmarket interior and robust build-quality.

He also said the cars came with off-road capability and a large luggage area which would appeal to those with active lifestyle.

The new SUVs are equipped with turbo engines, automatic transmission, LED headlights and intelligent safety features such as Collision Prevention Assist Plus which engages automatic braking to prevent crashing into a slower vehicle ahead.

The GLC 250 4Matic is priced at RM328,888, GLE 250 d 4Matic (RM486,888), GLE 400 4Matic (RM568,888), GLE 400 4Matic Coupe (RM630,888) and GLE 450 AMG 4Matic Coupe (RM699,888).
