KUALA LUMPUR: MMC Corporation Bhd and Petra Energy Bhd
are teaming up to look for engineering and design jobs in Malaysia's brownfield oil and gas market.
MMC said on Friday MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd had signed an MoU with Petra Energy's unit Petra Resources Sdn Bhd to combine their resources and activities to pursue opportunities in the brownfield market.
“MMC Oil & Gas and Petra agree to cooperate and collaborate in respect of design and detailed engineering scope for potential projects. This cooperation and collaboration shall benefit both parties based on a 'contractor-subcontractor' relationship,” said MMC..
The duration of this MoU is one year, effective from July 20, 2016 with an option for extension.
