AirAsia X introduces premium flatbeds from RM718

KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia X, is introducing premium flatbeds for all-in-fares from RM718 (one-way) to celebrate its continuous winning streak at the Skytrax World Airline Awards on July 12.

In a statement on Wednesday, AirAsia X said it was the first low-cost carrier in the world to introduce flatbed seats, which have standard business class specifications.

Chief executive officer Benyamin Ismail said being awarded the ‘World’s Best Low-Cost Airline Premium Cabin’ and ‘World’s Best Low-Cost Airline Premium Seat,’ for four consecutive years was a solid testament to AirAsia X’s premium product range.

“Guests can now fly to XiAn, Taipei and Nepal on the premium flatbeds with all-in-fares from RM718 one-way; to Perth from RM768 one-way; and to Tehran, Hangzhou and Shanghai from only RM898 one-way. 

“It is truly an affordable luxury where our guests can enjoy extra comfort and perks such as complimentary meal and drink, duvet, 40kg baggage allowance, flexibility to change their flights and many more,” he said.

The AirAsia X Premium Flatbeds feature universal power sockets, adjustable headrests and built-in personal utilities such as tray table, drink holder, reading light and privacy screen.

The promo is available for bookings on its website -- www.airasia.com -- until Aug 7, 2016, for the travel period from Jan 4 to Aug 21, 2017. - Bernama
