SapKen: Don’t worry about Brazil, contract there will not be cancelled


KUALA LUMPUR: Oil-and-gas services firm SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd (SapKen) reiterates that the company’s operations in Brazilian waters on a long-term contract with Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras) is not under any threat of cancellation in spite of the oil giant’s fiscal difficulties.

“We have been doing work there for almost 2½ years and we have been operating at close to full utilisation.
