Bintai Kinden bags a RM48mil job in Singapore


KUALA LUMPUR: Bintai Kinden Corp Bhd’s 69.82% owned subsidiary Bintai Kindenko Pte Ltd has clinched a S$15.8mil (RM48.05mil) subcontract to do air conditioning and mechanical ventilation and engineered smoke control system works in Tuas, Singapore.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday, the mechanical and electrical engineering firm said the job given by Tiong Seng Contractors Pte Ltd would be completed by September next year.

The works are for a proposed industrial complex complex at Tuas Avenue 1 which includes two blocks of 10-storey general industrial factory, three blocks of nine-storey general industrial factory with a secondary workers’ dormitory, and a heavy vehicle parking facility.
